Royal Academy of Art History                                        

Royal Academy of Art abbreviated as KABK is a Dutch public art school located in the Hague, Netherlands. The academy was established as The Hague Drawing Academy in 1682 and was merged with Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 1990 and conferred university status in 2010 although both the institutions maintain their independent identities. It currently enrols over 890 students.

Royal Academy of Art offers a Bachelor of Arts in Art Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Graphic Design, Bachelor of Interactive Media and Design, Bachelor of Interior Design, Architecture, and Furniture Design, Bachelor of Photography, and Bachelor of Textiles and Fashion at the undergraduate level.

Royal Academy of Art also offers Master Programs in Artistic Research, Non Linear Narrative, Photography and Society, Art Sciences, Type and Media, Industrial Design, and Interior Architecture in addition to a few preparatory and doctoral programs.

Royal Academy of Art Campuses

Royal Academy of Art is based on an urban campus in the city of The Hague in the Netherlands. Many of the academy buildings date back to the 18th century and are scattered throughout the city. The campus offers a range of amenities at its doorstep in addition to excellent public transpiration access and cycling tracks which connect it to the rest of the city.

Royal Academy of Art offers facilities such as classrooms and lecture halls, student housing options, well-stocked libraries with books, periodicals, and journals, and design studios. There are a few exhibition spaces available in addition to dining and recreational facilities.

Royal Academy of Art partners with Leiden University to offer a number of joint degree programs and partners with several universities overseas including University of the Arts London, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Falmouth University, Zokei University, National Institute of Fashion Technology India, and Bern University of Arts to facilitate exchange programs.

Royal Academy of Art is a selective institution with a low acceptance rate and also awards a few scholarships to its students. The academy also collaborates extensively on various international projects via Platform Internationalisation ELIA and ETHO.
