St. George’s University is a private international university which was established in 1976. The university is located in Grenada, West Indies. St. George’s University owns 65 buildings on 42 acres of land, spread out in a peninsula in the southwest corner of Grenada.

St. George’s University has four Faculties and each faculty has a specific school such as; School Of Medicine, School Of Veterinary Medicine, School Of Graduate Studies, and School Of Arts and Sciences. These schools offer numerous programs, some of them are: medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, the health sciences, nursing, arts and sciences, business, and many more. The university also provides summer programs of Med/Vet Summer Leadership Academy and Island Veterinary Scholars Program.

St. George’s University has more than 6,300 students which include 18,000 graduate students. The university has more than 2,300 faculty members and the student-faculty ratio is 8:1.

St. George’s University provides scholarship opportunities to the students on the basis of academic excellence. The university has an Athletics, Sports, and Recreational Department for the students to participate in different indoor and outdoor sports activities like; snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving, cardio equipment, space for classes such as spinning and yoga.
