Al Farabi Kazakh National University History
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University also known as KazGU or KazNU is a located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is known after the Eastern philosopher and scholar named al-Farabi, it is one of the largest universities in the country. It is the oldest well known the University of the Republic established on November 13, 1933. The name was later changed to Al-Farabi Kazakh State University.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University consists of 98 departments, 43 scientific research laboratories, and 9 scientific research groups. Human resources were educated on 21 specialties and 74 specializations.
Al Farabi Kazakh National University Campuses
Al Farabi Kazakh National University has its own campus, known as "Kazgugrad", on land between Timiryazev Street, Al-Farabi Avenue, the "Yessentai" river, and the Botanical Garden. The main building is 15 stories tall and the University has the largest campus in Kazakhstan with an area of 100 hectares,It is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Almaty. There are seventeen dormitories and three more faculties such as Geography, Biology, Preparatory, and International Relations.
Al Farabi Kazakh National University Achievements and USP
Al Farabi Kazakh National University provides the state scholarship for the students, interns, Master's degree students, who are studying under the state educational order, also who are transferred to study under state educational order. This Scholarship is applicable for the person with excellent grades. It is granted and paid on a monthly basis during the first semester to students, and for the Master's degree students who were enrolled for the first year based on the state educational order in the first semester.
