Central Queensland University is a public university which was established in 1967 in Australia. The university has fifteen campuses and six Centres, Hubs and Sites : Adelaide Campus , Biloela Campus, Brisbane Campus, Bundaberg Campus, Cairns Campus, Emerald Campus, Gladstone Campus, Mackay Campus, Melbourne Campus, Noosa Campus, Perth Campus, Rockhampton Campus , Sydney Campus, Townsville Campus and Yeppoon Campus. The Centres, Hubs and Sites are: Broome, Busseltons, Charters Towers, Cooma, Geraldton and Karratha. 

Central Queensland University comprises of six schools: School of Education and the Arts, School of Business & Law, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Medical and Applied Sciences, School of Human, Health and Social Sciences and School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Central Queensland University has more than 35,000 students. The university has more than 5,000 international students from 70 countries across the globe. The university has more than 1,300 faculties.  The student to faculty ratio is 25:1.
