Fukuoka University is a private university located in Fukuoka, Japan. It is a research university in Japan. It was established in the year 1934 by the Minister of Education. This University has various field in medical science, healthcare science, public health, life science, and research.

Fukuoka University has two campuses. The first campus is Nanakuma in Fukuoka. The second campus is Kitakyushu. Fukuoka University has hospital also and it is one of Japan’s top hospitals. The University has abundant collections of Faculty of Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Sports Science. It has 2 million books and about 20,000 magazine and various electronic database from humanities/ social sciences. It has 40,000 e-journals and 170,000 e-books.
Fukuoka University Achievements
Fukuoka University, Takahashi Shinya (Faculty of Engineering Department of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science) was awarded Best Paper Award of the Tenth Symposium on Natural Language Processing in 2013. Katoh Katsumi (Faculty of Engineering Department of Chemical Engineering) was awarded the Excellent Oral Presentation Award in 2014.
