Kharazmi University History

Kharazmi University is a public university located in Persian, Iran. It was established in the year 1919 as the Central Teacher’s Institute and got university status as the Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran in 1974. It later got changed and was renamed to Kharazmi University in 2012.

Kharazmi University, offers undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs, master’s programs, and doctoral programs. The University includes 5 departments, 16 faculties, 4 research institutes, and 4 research centers. It has more than 502 academic staff including more than 5000 undergraduate students and 3000 postgraduate students.

Kharazmi University Campuses

Kharazmi University has 2 campuses. The first main campus is the Tehran campus located in Mofatteh Ave. The place is located in Central Tehran. The second campus is the Karaj campus it is located in Karaj, Tehran. The campus includes all the program faculties.

Kharazmi University Achievements and USP

Kharazmi University, Dr. Amini professor of the university was awarded “The Best Student in Ph.D. Course and Second Best Student in Master Course. Dr. Jalali (Department in Cell and Development Biology, Animal Sciences, Biological Sciences) was honored best student in Ph.D. Competition, Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran in 2009 and Second Best Student in Master level, the Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran in 2007.
