Nara Women's University History                                        

Nara Women's University is a Japanese national women only university located in Nara, Nara Prefecture. The university was established in 1908 as Nara Advanced Teachers College for Women. The university adopted its present name in 1949 and enrols over 2500 students.

Nara Women's University offers a number of undergraduate programs across three faculties which include Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Human Life and Environment. The university also offers two graduate programs in Humanities and Sciences.
