North Maharashtra University also known as Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University or KBCNMU is an Indian public university located in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The university was established in 1990 after it split from University of Pune.

The university campus is situated on the banks of Girna River surrounded by the hills which offers a conducive environment to study and relax. The campus comprises of over 200000 trees.
