Padjadjaran University History

Padjadjaran University was established in the year 1957. It is a public university which is situated in Bandung in West Java. It was opened as the result of Banding Institute of Technology being the only engineering institute in the state. It was opened with only four departments as a part of it.

Padjadjaran University Programs, Courses and Schools

Padjadjaran University is organised into 16 academic faculties along with one postgraduate school. It offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral courses in various disciplines of study. Students can also opt for specialist programs, professional courses, research and study abroad program.

Faculties of the university are expert in their area of study and guide students for their life goals as well. Students can also go for one-year diploma and three-year diploma courses. It has got students with highest grades in its entrance exam admitted in the university.

Padjadjaran University Campuses

Padjadjaran University has got two campuses and others spread across the state. It has a green and urban campus with the facilities like transportation, campus security, academic buildings, meeting rooms, athletic grounds, gym, healthcare centre, central lab, language centre and recreational area. There are student clubs and organisations which organises events and activities. Student media has radio station and publications.

Central library is a multimedia library with each department having its own library. It has a collection of books, journals, archives, documents, repository, guides and publications. Databases, e-resources, sitting areas, computer systems and rooms are available.

It is an internationally acclaimed university with its ranking among the top 10 universities of Indonesia by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. QS World University Ranking has ranked it among top 1000 universities of the world. It is also the venue for the most important conferences.
