Piri Reis University is a private university in Tuzla Province, Turkey. It was established in 2008 by the Turkish Maritime Education Foundation. The University is devoted to the education of maritime studies and is named after the legendary Turkish admiral and cartographer Piri Reis. The current enrollment stands at over 4900 students.
