Sabanci University is one of Turkey's leading family foundations, Sabanc? Vakf?, the Sabanc? Group founded Sabanc? University in July 1994. The innovational ceremony for the Sabanc? University campus took place on July 31, 1997. The university started its second academic year on October 20, 1999. The University’s Foundations Development Program comprises of two key educational stages that are the Foundations Development Year and University Courses.

University has a campus that is away from the hectic life of the city, but still it offers everything students may need in their everyday lives.
