Tafila Technical University History

Tafila Technical University was established in the year 2005. It is a public university which is situated in Tafila in Jordan. It is a first technical university to open in Jordan. It was formed after the approval of the Royal Decree. Its main aim is country development by developing its future.

Tafila Technical University Programs, Courses and Schools

Tafila Technical University is organised into six academic colleges and six technology, language and research centres. It offers bachelor’s and master’s programs to the students in various disciplines. Students can also go for research, diploma, language, e-learning and deanship programs.

The faculties recruited in the university hold master’s and doctoral degrees and are qualified from the renowned universities. It is the home to more than 6000 students and teaches students in 27 specialities. It has excellent relations with international universities.

Tafila Technical University has a huge campus with urban infrastructure. It provides students with the amenities like restaurants, sports arena, gym, swimming pool, classroom complex, campus security, advanced labs, workshops, academic buildings, auditorium, theatre and recreational area. University library is the digital library stocked with books, magazines, archives, publications, periodicals, documents, tutorials and research guides. Students and faculties have the access to e-resources, media access, help desk, printing service, study rooms and computer systems.
