Technical University of Madrid History

The Technical University of Madrid also sometimes known as Polytechnic University of Madrid, UPM, and Universidad Politecnica de Madrid is a university located in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The university was established in the year 1971 after the merger of numerous Engineering and Architecture Schools which originated in the 18th century. The university currently enrolls over 35,000 students.
