University of Cagliari History

The University of Cagliari, it is a public university located in Sardinia, Italy. It is one of the oldest Spanish Universities in Italy. The University was established in the year 1606 by the Pope Paul V and obtained in 1620 the privilege of a foundation by Philip III of Spain, the University of Cagliari began its activity in 1626.
