University of Cuenca History

University of Cuenca was established in the year 1867. It is a public university which is situated in Cuenca in Ecuador. It was set up as the University Corporation of Azuay but was later renamed to University of Azuay and finally to University of Cuenca. It was the first university to be opened in Cuenca.

University of Cuenca Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Cuenca is organised into twelve academic faculties which offers learning in various disciplines of study. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. Students can also opt for research study, student exchange program, language course and continuing education with e-learning.
