University of Ibadan History

University of Ibadan abbreviated as UI is a Nigerian higher education establishment located in Ibadan. The university was established as University College Ibadan, one of the constituent colleges of University of London in 1948 and was conferred independent university status in 1963. The university currently enrols over 41000 students.
