University of La Laguna History

The University of La Laguna also commonly referred to as ULL is a university located in San Cristobal de La Laguna on the island of Tenerife in Spain. The university was established in 1701 as Center for Advanced Studies which was eventually conferred university status after the House of Bourbon was restored on the Spanish island.

The University of La Laguna is located in Tenerife, Canary Islands, a Spanish settlement in the Mediterranean Sea. The campus provides an idyllic location for study and social life. The university has six campuses in the city they are Central, Guajara, Ofra, Anchieta, Campus del Sur, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The University of La Laguna is also ranked 2nd in Spain for Humanities by a survey conducted by Everis Foundation. The university also ranks amongst top 300 universities in the world in the University Impact Ranking 2019 conducted by Times Higher Education.

University of La Laguna USP

The University of La Laguna participates in the ERASMUS programs and offers its students a chance to study abroad or attend summer school in a number of partner universities in Europe. Student exchange programs are also available in the universities outside Europe.

The University of La Laguna has a high acceptance rate and the university also offers a number of grants and bursaries to help students with course material, tuition fee, and living costs.
