University of Sulaimani History

University of Sulaimani is a public higher education institution located in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The university was established in 1968 by Dr. Mohammed Salih Beg. The university was eventually shut a few years later and reopened in 1992. It currently enrols over 25000 students.

University of Sulaimani comprises of 11 schools and colleges offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in a number of subjects. Some of the subject offerings include Agricultural Sciences, Agribusiness, Commerce, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, and Veterinary Sciences.
