University of Zanjan History

University of Zanjan was established in the year 1975. It is a public university which is situated in Zanjan in Iran. It was started as Zanjan Higher School for Agriculture and Animal Science but changed to Zanjan Agriculture and Animal Science College to Centre for Higher Education to its present name.

University of Zanjan Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Zanjan is organised into four academic faculties consisting of various departments and offering education in various disciplines of study. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. Students can also apply for research, language programs, trainings and study abroad courses.

Facutlies recruited in the university hold remarkable credentials and are experienced in guiding students in the right way. It is the home to more than 10,000 students. Internship offers are also provided to the students. Students are taught with experimentation and more of on-field knowledge.

Student facilities include observatory, incubation centre, cafeteria, meteorological centre, museum, research centre, study centre, campus store, sports facility, pool, fitness centre, student support services and recreational area. University library is a multi-storey and digital library equipped with books, magazines, research guides, documents, journals, catalogues, archives and periodicals. E-resources, databases, printing access, digital study rooms, borrowing services, computer systems and internet access are available.
