Al - Bayt University History

Al - Bayt University is one of Jordan's public universities. A Royal Decree ordering the establishment of Al - Bayt University was issued on August 17, 1992. As stated in the Royal Message, the University must meet an urgent need for a new type of university ; one that combines the requirements of scientific methodology in teaching and research and on the other, the requirements of belief and clarity of vision, thus creating harmony between the Muslim's round personality and his new environment.

Al - Bayt University Programs, Courses and Schools

The university has nine faculties, each of which is divided into multiple departments. The faculties are Faculty of Information Technology of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, Faculty of Finance and Business Administration, Princess Salma Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Sharia, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education Sciences.

Al - Bayt University Campuses

Al - Bayt University is situated on the outskirts of Mafraq City, 65 kilometres northeast (about 45 minutes drive) from the capital Amman - Jordan. The university has integrated on one site academic facilities, student housing and social services, covering an area of 7539 dunums.
