Kurukshetra University is an Indian higher education establishment located in the city of Kurukshetra, Haryana. The university is public and was established in year 1956 post the Indian Independence. The university was originally conceived by Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, a renowned Sanskrit Scholar.
