National Aviation University History

National Aviation University also abbreviated as NAU is a Ukrainian higher education establishment located in Kiev. The university was established as Kyiv Aviation Institute in 1933 after the spilt of Mechanical Engineering Department from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The university currently enrols 25000 students.

National Aviation University comprises of 5 institutes, 10 faculties, 1 Aviation Academy, 3 Lyceums, 6 Colleges, and 1 Military Training Division. There are number of programs available at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

National Aviation University offers programs in Air Navigation, Aerospace, Electronics and Telecommunications, Architecture, Construction and Design, Environmental Safety, Linguistics, Social Communications, International Relations, Law, and Computer Engineering to name a few.

National Aviation University has an urban campus located in the city of Kiev in Ukraine. The university campus comprises of number of modern buildings with glass facades which house all the faculties, research centres, institutes, and other facilities.
