Salisbury University

Salisbury University is based at Salisbury, Maryland. The university is part of the University system of Maryland.

Salisbury University History

The university was established in the year 1925 that initially started as a Normal School. The school started with only 105 students. In 1934, it got changed to Maryland State Teachers College from Normal School. The college expanded in the preceding years and was able to offer master's degree from 1962. In 1963, it was named the Salisbury State College. Finally, in 2001, the college was renamed to what it is known as today Salisbury University. Today, the university has an enrollment of more than 8000 students including students from atleast 60 foreign countries.

Salisbury University offers graduate, undergraduate and also doctoral programs through the following colleges and schools:
