University of Siegen History

University of Siegen was established in the year 1972. It is a public and research university which is situated in Siegen in Germany. Its roots were laid in 16^th century. It began as the State School of Civil Engineering to Educational University Siegerland to Educational University Westfalen-Lippe to Siegen Comprehensive University to University-Comprehensive University to its current name.

University of Siegen Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Siegen has got four academic faculties and five scientific centres and institutions. Students can opt for bachelors, masters, doctoral and training programs. It also offers research, online programs, study abroad programs and language programs in different area of study.

Faculties of the university are experienced and hold expertise in their field of study. The university offers language courses and aims to educate students by providing them with internationally oriented courses.

University of Seigen has an urban campus covering an area of 92,000 m².
