Airlangga University History

Airlangga University is a public university located in Surabaya, Indonesia. The University is the second oldest university in Indonesia. It was established in the year 1954 by Indonesian Government Regulation.

Airlangga University Programs, Courses, and Schools

Airlangga University, offers 35 bachelor programs, 39 master programs, and 13 doctoral programs. It also includes Specialist/ Sub Specialist Medical degree, vocational degree, and professional degree programs. It also includes an International Class and Double Degree program to students. The University has 15 faculties. The university has more than 2,207 academic staff including 33,642 undergraduate students and 2,343 postgraduate students.

Airlangga University Campuses

Airlangga University, campuses are divided into alphabetically order like, Campus A in Jalan Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry). Campus B in JalanAirlangga (Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities, and Postgraduate School) with Faculty of Vocational Studies in JalanSrikana. Campus C in Jalan Ir. Dr. H. Soekarno, Mulyorejo Blvd. (Faculty of medicine, college of Public Health, College of Sciences and Technology, College of Marine and workplace, and college of Nursing). Campus D in Giri, Banyuwangi (an outside regional campus for Aquaculture, Accounting, Veterinary Medicine, and Public Health majors).

Airlangga University, The MBNQA (Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award) is tasked with assessing the quality of organizations in the business, health care, education, and other non-profit sectors. Airlangga University was also accredited by a national accreditation agency for higher education.

Airlangga University, In 2010 Airlangga University was ranked 466th worldwide per the Top five hundred QS World University Rankings 2010, further as ranked 86th in Top 200 QS Asian University Rankings 2011(third in Indonesia and GadjahMada University). In the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities 2011, Airlangga University was placed fourth in-country and twenty-second within the Southeast Asia region. The Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy are among the best science colleges in Indonesia, ranked forty fifths in Asia and 356th within the world by QS World University Rankings 2011.
