Belarus State University History
Belarus State University located in Minsk; Belarus was founded on October 30, 1921. The University was headed by the outstanding historian and slavist Vladimir Ivanovich Picheta. The formation of this University marked the elimination of illiteracy and the preservation of European and cultural heritage. Thus, this formed the national system of higher education.
