Bellerbys College London was founded in 1927. Initially the college was named Davies College. Now, the college is named after the former principal, Robin Bellerby. Now, college is home to students from more than sixty countries.

University History

In 1927, Bellerbys College London was founded as Davies College. Bellerbys College is a series of formerly four private international co-educational boarding schools in the UK, owned by Study Group International who also operate language schools under the name Embassy. Davies's College was initially set up to prepare students for entrance to Oxford and Cambridge, the Armed Services and the Civil Services. In 1959, a second campus of Davies's College was founded in Hove. In 1980, Mr Robin Bellerby became principal of Davies College in Hove and later when he became owner of the college, it was renamed Bellerbys college.
