Feng Chia University History

Feng Chia University, is a private university located in Taichung, Taiwan. It was established in the year 1961, the Feng Chia College of Engineering and Business was founded on Guanyin Mountain in Beitun of Taichung City.

Feng Chia University Programs, Courses, and Schools

Feng Chia University offers 57 postgraduate programs, 76 master’s programs and 14 doctorate programs. The University has 33 academic department and 10 graduate schools and colleges. The University has more than 2,200 faculty and administrative staff including 17,548 undergraduate students and 3,169 postgraduate students.

Feng Chia University Campuses

Feng Chia University, there are 3 campuses. The main campus has 16 buildings in each building there is facilities like library building, administrative building, athletic club office, and various facilities are included in the main campus building. The second building is Fuhsing Campus where they have women’s dormitory, man’s dormitory, Faculty Housing A, B, C, D, E building and Guard House. The third campus is Central Taiwan Science Park which has facilities of the School of Management Development.

Feng Chia University was awarded an excellent paper award of International Management Engineering, software engineering, and service science conference in Jan 2017. The University was also awarded for Leadership Award of 2014 IEEE Reliability Society in the year 2014. It also been awarded by Asia JCIS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.

In 2017, FCU ranked as a top private institution in Taiwan within the Engineering & Technology and Social Sciences & Management classes.
