Fukushima University History 

Fukushima University or Fukudai was recognized in 1949 after merging three national colleges – Fukushima College of Economics, Fukushima Normal School & Fukushima Youth Normal School in it. Around 4500+ students enrolled in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the University.

Campuses 

University has a big campus. there is a separate building structure for different faculties. Proper walking spaces, classrooms, research laboratories, event hall, libraries, student clubs & societies are present on the campus. a cafeteria is also there on the campus to give delicious breaks to the students. the University has a playground to perform sports activities.   

Libraries

University has a double-story library building. There are almost 8 lakhs+ books & reading material in the library. The library provides the facilities like audio-visual rooms, personal computers, group study rooms, photocopy services, interlibrary loan & Wi-Fi access. International House

Student Accommodation

Kisaragi Dorm 

The residence is for male students. It has five floors. There is a kitchen space on each floor. The residence has no dining facility but students can reach out to the meal offered in the cafeteria by using their meal card.

Nobuo Dorm 

This four-floor residence building is for male students. It has all the modern facilities for students. There is no dining facility in the residence. Students feel at home in the residence.

Aio Dorm 

This four-floor residence is for female students of the university. Students have to prepare their meals by themselves. The residence is built with western style comforts. Students can get other facilities after paying the amount for the particular services. 

Noda Housing 

This residence has eight-building for the international student of the University. Students have to follow the way of Japanese living. All type of modern facility provides to international students.
