Keimyung University History

Keimyung University was established in 1954 and is located in Daegu, South Korea. It was originally called the Keimyung Christian College with a motive to educate Koreans with roots anchored in Christianity.

Keimyung University provides Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral courses. The Undergraduate courses are offered across schools namely College of Humanities, College of International Studies, College of Education, College of Business Administration, College of Social Sciences, College of Law and Police Sciences, College of Natural Sciences, College of Architectural Studies, College of Environment, College of Engineering, College of Nursing, College of Medicine, College of Music and Performing Arts, College of Fine Arts, College of Fashion, College of Physical Education and College of Media Arts. The graduate school comprises of Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Graduate School of Natural Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Arts and Physical Education and Graduate School of Medicine.

Keimyung University comprises of three campuses within the city of Daegu in Daemyeong, Seongseo and Dongsan.

Keimyung University USP and Achievements

Keimyung University conducts the CCAP which is the Cross Cultural Awareness Program. Through this program, the international students of Korea are encouraged to bring out their respective cultures and celebrate it.

Keimyung University also conducts a Korean Language Program that offers a Korean Language course for its international students. The activity also involves cultural experiences, regular field trips and festivals.
