Kookmin University History

Kookmin University is a South Korean educational institution located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The university is also commonly known as KMU and was established in year 1946. The university is private and currently enrolls over 16000 students.

Kookmin University also offers a library called the Sungkok Library which comprises of over 7 million books, CDs and databases, 50000 plus Korean and Foreign journals, 52000 e-books, and 13000 online journals. The library also offers 2700 individual cubicles for students to study.
