Kyungpook National University is a national university which represents Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea. The University is located in the Daegu Metropolitan City, which is the capital city of the Gyeongbuk Province. It was founded in September 1946.

It also has a campus for its teaching hospital known as the Dongin campus. The campus at Samduk is for its dental school and hospital. The University also functions from its Sangju campus.
