Latvia University of Life Sciences and Agriculture and Technologies was established in the year 1938. It is situated in Jelgava in Latvia. It was named as Jelgava Academy of Agriculture to Latvia Academy of Agriculture to Latvia University of Agriculture to its present name. It was founded as Agriculture department in Riga Polytechnic Institute in 1863.

Latvia University of Life Sciences and Agriculture and Technologies is organised into eight academic faculties offering 48 programs and four scientific institutes.
