Multimedia University MMU History

Multimedia University MMU was established in the year 1994. It is a private university which is situated in different parts of Malaysia. It was set up as Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology, later changed to Universiti Telekom after achieving its recognition as the university. It got its current name in 1999.

Multimedia University MMU Programs, Courses and Schools

Multimedia University MMU is categorised into ten academic faculties and eight research institutes. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in various areas of study. Students can also apply for innovation studies, foundation program, study abroad program and virtual learning.

It is the home to exceptionally skilled and trained teachers and professors guiding students in their academic and life goals. Additional degree programs offered include distance education, foundation program, diploma, short courses and executive master’s degree. It is an award centre of learning and placement.

Multimedia University MMU Campuses

Multimedia University MMU covers three campuses with urban architecture and up to date facilities. Campus services include transportation, student support services, internet connectivity, recreational area, dining, athletic arena, theatre, healthcare centre, auditorium, personality development centre and campus security. Students can have skill polishing by becoming the part of student clubs. It is the home to country’s first internet radio channel.

University library is the digital unit stocked with books, repositories, catalogues, archives, research guides, documents and periodicals. Databases, computer systems, tutorials, training rooms, tutorials, education programs, classrooms, self renewal services, sitting area and help centre are accessible.
