Selcuk University History

Selcuk University is a Turkish higher education institution located in the city of Konya. The university commenced operations with Faculty of Literature and Science in 1976 and has ever since grown to enrol over 85000 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

Selcuk University comprises of 22 faculties offering a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in a number of subjects including Agriculture, Art and Design, Business Administration and Finance, Marketing, accounting, Communication, Dentistry, Economics, Education, and Administrative Sciences.

Selcuk University also offers programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences Engineering, Architecture, Fine Arts, Law, Medicine and Health Sciences, Sciences and Technology, Technical Education, Theology, and Veterinary Sciences in addition to a number of Vocational Programs.

Selcuk University has an urban campus located in the city of Konya in Turkey. The university campus has seen massive re-development in the recent years and a new campus has been developed which houses the administrative headquarters, Dilek Sabanci State Conservatory, student housing, three university hospitals, and student services.
