Sophia University History

Sophia University was established in the year 1913 and is located in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded by Hermann Hoffmann and initially, it started with departments such as Commerce, Philosophy and German Literature.

Sophia University comprises of 6 campuses. The main campus that boasts of over 25 modern buildings and facilities is located at Yotsuya. The other campuses are Mejiro Seibo Campus, Ichigaya Campus, Shakujii Campus, Hadano Campus, and the Osaka Satellite Campus. The campus comprises a very positive environment and ample facilities that the students spend the majority of their time on campus.
