Tama Art University History                                        

Tama Art University colloquially known as Tamabi is a Japanese private higher education establishment located in Tokyo. The university was established in year 1935 as Tama Imperial Art School and was conferred university status in 1953. It has ever since grown to enrol over 4500 students.

Tama Art University has its primary campus located in Hachioji City, Tokyo in Japan which houses the major faculties, teaching facilities, design labs, and libraries. The university also runs two seminar houses near Mount Fuji in Yamanakako and the other one on Nara City called the Nara Antiquities Seminar House.

Tama Art University also has one more campus in Kaminoge. The campus houses three faculties in addition to teaching facilities and student services. All campuses offer student support services, sports facilities, housing options, dining options, and well-stocked libraries.
