Technical University of Cluj Napoca History

Technical University of Cluj Napoca was established in the year 1948. It is a public university which is situated in Cluj Napoca in Romania. It has its roots in 1920 from Industrial College. It was started as Cluj Mechanics Institute, then was renamed to Cluj Polytechnic Institute and then to its current name in 1992.

Technical University of Cluj Napoca Programs, Courses and Schools

Technical University of Cluj Napoca is organised into twelve academic faculties offering more than 200 degree programs. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. Students have other courses options like research, student exchange program, language courses and virtual learning.

It has recruited more than 900 professors and assistant professors and is home to more than 20,000 students. Students can also apply for continuing education and pedagogical trainings. It has partnered with various national and international institutions for research, education and scholarship purposes.
