Thapar University History

Thapar University is located in the beautiful city of Patiala, India. It was established in the year 1956 by Karam Chand Thapar. It is one of the oldest and prominent private Universities in India providing education beyond excellence. The University was renamed as Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Slowly and gradually, it emerged as one of the leading Universities emphasizing on research in technology.
