Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology is a public university in South Korea which is dedicated to research in science and technology. It was established by the UNIST bill that was passed in 2007 by the request of the people and city of Ulsan. A new bill was passed in the national assembly recognizing UNIST as one of the four nationally funded research institutes in Korea In March 2015. The name of the school was changed from Ulsan Gwahak Gisurdae to Ulsan Gwahak Gisurwon.

Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology Campuses

Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology maintains a fully residential campus which has modern-looking buildings. Eonyang is just beside the old Ulsan city and small mountains surround the whole campus. At the center of the campus, there is a large man-made pond called Gamakmot. The campus is also next to the Bangudae Petroglyphs site. The campus is connected to other major cities in South Korea.

The Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology provides scholarships for international students to pursue the undergraduate programme for the academic session. In the first semester, all the admitted students receive the full tuition scholarship. The University offers One-time financial aid KRW 500,000 upon arrival. Also, Full tuition waived if GPA is 2.0 or above with more than 12 credits per semester during the freshman year.
