University of Babylon History

University of Babylon is one of the esteemed public university located in the city of Hillah at Babylon Iraq. The University was founded in the year 1993. The university initially started in order to induce higher education amongst the higher class in Iraq. It ranks amongst top 5% of World Universities.

University of Babylon comprises of 6 Schools, 20 Colleges, 21 Faculties and several Departments. The University owes many Scientific and Research institutes. It offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in the disciplines of Economics, Administrative Sciences, Education, Dentistry, Computer Science, Qur’an Studies, Physical Education, Agriculture, Law, Engineering, fine Arts, Nursing, Health Science, Materials engineering and many more.
