University of Carthage History                                        

University of Carthage is a Tunisian higher education institution located the city of Tunis. The university was established as University of Law, Economics and Management Tunis III in 1988 and adopted its present name in 2011. The university currently enrols over 48000 students.

University of Carthage comprises of 21 schools and institutes which offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in Judicial Studies, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics and Management, Science and Technology, Computer Sciences, and Statistics.

University of Carthage also offers programs in Architecture and Urbanism, Information Analysis, Audiovisual and Film Studies, Engineering, Business Studies, Applied Sciences, Fine Arts, Environmental Sciences, Languages, Accountancy, Finance, and Media and Communication.

University of Carthage is ranked 1560th worldwide and 4th in the country by CWUR Center for World University Rankings. The university is also ranked amongst top 80 universities in the Arab region by QS Top Universities.

University of Carthage USP

University of Carthage is accredited by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia and UNIMED and despite being one of the youngest universities in the country it attracts a number of researchers and academics each year.

University of Carthage also offers a number of scholarships and tuition fee waivers to students based on past academic performance. The university also boasts of a low student to faculty ratio of just 9.6:1.
