University of Coimbra History
The University of Coimbra is a Portuguese public university located in Coimbra, Portugal. Established in 1290 in Lisbon and undergoing multiple relocations it was permanently based at Portugal in 1537. It is one of the oldest operating universities and large museum of higher education and research institutions.
