University of Craiova History

The University of Craiova was started in the year 1947 but was recognised as the university in the year 1965. It is a private university and is situated in Craiova in Romania. It has got a long history where it became the last university established in the Kingdom of Romania. The university is regulated by the Rector board. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova was established in 1988.

University of Craiova Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Craiova is known for its academics. There are 14 faculties, two colleges, academic departments, three operational departments and affiliated research centers. The university offers undergraduate programs, graduate, doctoral and teaching degrees. There are also European programs, foreign language courses, innovation center and summer school.
