University of Lima History

University of Lima was established in the year 1962. It is a private and non-profit university which is located in Lima in Peru. The planning to start the university was initiated in 1960s. The university started with 120 students but today is the home to more than 20,000 students. It is one of the most known universities in Peru.

University of Lima Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Lima provides opportunity to the students by offering twelve academic programs. There are five faculties offering undergraduate, graduate programs along with executive education, research, sustainable studies, general studies, environmental studies and innovation. Student exchange program is also the part of the system.

University is equipped with highly skilled faculties. Student to faculty ratio is low in the classroom. The most popular course among the students is research and innovation.

University of Lima is a 6 acres modern campus with all the amenities for the students. Campus is highly safe. There are cafeteria, high-tech classrooms, halls, auditorium, recreation area, playing arenas, fully equipped labs, health care centre and culture centre. Various artistic workshops are conducted on poetry, dance forms, choir etc. University media includes magazines and publications.

University library is the multi-storey modern building loaded with books, journals, e-books, magazines, literatures and research guides. Collection of databases along with computer systems and study areas are available.
