University of New England History                                           

University of New England also known as UNE is an American educational establishment located in Biddeford, Maine. The university was founded as a junior school in 1831 and has ever since grown to enroll over 13,000 students.

University of New England offers over 70 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs in a wide range of subjects such as Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Health Sciences to name a few.

University of New England has its primary campus located in Biddeford, Maine with secondary campuses at Portland and Tangier. The Biddeford campus is a rural campus spread over an area of 540 hectares and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
