University of Primorska is a private university located in Koper, in the traditional areas of Solvenia. The university was established in the year 2003 as an academy of higher education amongst the locals of the coastal areas. After the war, the academy got transformed to The University is known for its programs in pedagogical studies.

University of Primorska comprises of two Colleges, three Faculties and Research Institutes.
