University of Sassari abbreviated as UniSS and called Universita degli Studi di Sassari in Italian, is an Italian higher education institution located in Sassari. The university dates back to 1562 and was established by Alessio Fontana. The university has ever since grown to enrol over 13000 undergraduate and graduate students today.
