Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Background

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a popular public research university in Malaysia. It has one of its branch campuses in  Kuala Lumpur. The university focuses mainly on graduates and more than half of its students are registered for postgrad courses which is the highest in Malaysia. The university has more than five thousand students of international origin who come from more than one hundred and twenty countries.

The University has many programs to offer including which belong to various faculties including but not limited to Engineering and Social sciences and humanities, environment and surveying, business, technology and informatics, education, teaching and learning, management, innovation and commercialization. 

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Campuses

UTM has two campuses in Skudai and was the first university in the state of Johor. It has a vast area and is the second largest public university after Universiti Putra Malaysia. It is situated near Johor Bahru. The branch campus is situated in Jalan Semarak within Kuala Lumpur. The branch campus accommodates diploma students, part-time students, undergraduate students and international students taking business courses.

The university has a huge library with online facilities. There are free shuttle services and local and international eateries on campus. In the QS University Rankings for 2016, it ranked hundredth in the Engineering and Technology Universities among other world ranked universities.
