University of the Basque Country History

The university was founded as a learning centre in the year 1880 in Spain as a public university by Jose Antonio. This university was formed during the Spanish Civil War.  The University’s native name was Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.

University of the Basque Country Programs, Schools & Courses

 The university comprises of 20 Faculties, Schools & interdisciplinary Research training. It offers 67 Bachelor’s Degrees in all fields, more than a hundred Master Programs and many professional and expert diplomas & Ph.D. Programs. It provides expertise in the fields of Sciences, Humanities, Arts, Architecture, Economics, Engineering and many more. There are 3 affiliations to the Schools of the University Of Basque Country.

The University welcomes student from different nationalities all across the World to pursue their research work. And encourages Exchange programs like SICUE (Spain), ERASMUS (European), UPV /EHU-AMERICA LATINA (Latin America).

University of the Basque Country Campuses

There are three campuses namely Biscay Campus, Gipuzkoa Campus & Araba. The biggest is the Campus of Biscay. The country is a world-famous tourist destination. There is a Representation centre on the campus that enables international students to exhibit cultural diversity.
